depressed?

Here is a list of things that help me when I’m feeling down in the dumps. I know it’s hard. It’s really freaking hard but remember, everything is temporary. This too, shall pass.

  • deep breaths
  • name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste
  • name the 50 states in alphabetical order (or anything that you can name easily. e.g. your childhood streets, the alphabet backwards, etc.)
  • scream into a pillow
  • hit said pillow, hard
  • a hot shower
  • a cold shower
  • bake some cookies
  • snuggle with cats
  • online shopping
  • find my good friends, Ben & Jerry
  • do yoga
  • smoke weed (in moderation)
  • take a nap
  • go for a run (in all honesty, I don’t really do this)
  • drink some hot tea
  • eat some chocolate
  • call someone who loves you
  • where are the closest dogs?
  • more weed tbh
  • who gives the best hugs?
